(Sept. 13, 2009) – Jen Kessy (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) and April Ross (Costa Mesa, Calif.) defeated Angie Akers (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and Tyra Turner (Fort Myers Beach, Fla.) 21-13, 21-19 in 43 minutes during an All-American bronze-medal match at the SWATCH/FIVB World Beach Tour Barcelona Open on Sunday.

Kessy and Ross have now medaled in 10 of their last 13 FIVB starts. With the victory, they will split third-place prize money of  $15,000, while Akers and Turn split $11,200.
